Parameter Balancing is yet another software that stems from my background in academia. In fact, I wrote my Bachelor's Thesis on this topic and published the method Parameter Balancing in the Journal of Physical Chemistry B. The web interface for this software allows uploading experimental data, running it through our tool, and inserting it into metabolic models of Systems Biology. Since the tool was written in Python, it seemed straight-forward to use a Python-based web framework for the application. I chose web2py for this task and published the Parameter Balancing Web Interface in Bioinformatics.

(Please ignore the fact that this project is not as visually impeccable as my other projects. In academia, people care about functionality first and there's usually no budget to hire design agencies just for good looks).
